The word “home” can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. As leaders in home improvement, HGTV wants to dive deeper into the concept of “Home” and find out exactly what this phrase means to you. What does home mean to you? Home is your city. Home is your family, your friends, or your favorite neighborhood hangout. It’s more than just an address. It’s the place you fall in love with – over and over again. Capture the moments and share your favorite photos + you might even see them on HGTV. Tag with #lovehome & #HGTV on Instagram & Twitter. You can also check out the gallery of photos at HGTV.com/LoveHome.

I LOVE home!  I probably love to be home too much, I am a real home body!  I love the way our family connects at home-the conversations, the food, the memories with the hubby/kids, reading great books together and even watching our favorite tv shows.  All of this happens at home and I am one blessed lady when it comes to the ones I share it with!  One of the things I always tell my kids is, no matter what they face in this world, Home will always be a safe place for them.  I pray my kids have nothing but great memories about home and we strive to make that happen here!   Home for me is these guys!

NairLogo-sm

In just a couple of weeks we will be opening our pool, I can’t believe it and I can’t wait!  I LOVE our pool and I love summer!   To get ready for summer us ladies like to make sure we can remove hair and if at all possible, remove it painless!  Nair has been around a long time, I remember this product and the commercials when I was a kid.  The product has come a long way and is even better now!

  • With summer around the corner, that means it’s time for bikinis, short shorts and overall, showing off more skin. Nair products provide professional results at home for staying smooth all summer long – at a fraction of what you’d pay at a salon.
  • Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care Body Trio and Face Trio are the new depilatories to join the popular Brazilian Spa Clay Line inspired by the beauty secrets and hair removal expertise of Brazil. Each product is infused with mango butter and acai berry known to moisturize the skin, and mineral-rich clay known to purify the skin.

  • The Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care™ Face Trio is the first 3-step depilatory for the face with a suggested retail price of $13.99.

Step 1: The first step is the pre-balm, which coats the skin to help minimize irritation and redness Step 2: The second step is the depilatory. There’s no drying time so you can apply the depilatory immediately after using the pre-balm. Step 3: After removing the depilatory product, apply the moisturizer, which is similar to a typical facial moisturizer. This will help neutralize the pH of the skin, bringing it back to the normal level.

  • Nair Brazilian Spa Clay Shower Total Care™ Body Trio is the only 3-step in-shower depilatory system, including the convenient Nair Shower Power® technology that works while you shower. The suggested retail price is $13.99.

Step 1: The pre-wipe contains mineral oil and chamomile to prepare your skin before removing hair.

Step 2: Apply the depilatory, which is resistant to water through emollients similar to those found in waterproof sunscreens so it will resist runoff while you shower. Keep the area out of the direct stream of water.

Step 3: After the hair is removed, apply soothing post-use gel with Aloe Vera for a perfect finish.

I hate shaving so it has been wonderful using these products!  The Spa Clay Shower Total Care™ Body Trio feels so nice.  It has a light, nice scent (some products really stink, this does not)  It is soft and cool and does not burn (LOVE THIS)  It has a nice tool to help you spread it and it works!  You may need to apply a couple of times if you don’t use enough and depending on how much hair you are removing.    The Brazilian Spa Clay Total Care™ Face Trio  works the same way and it is great it doesn’t burn the face.

If you hate shaving as much as I do it and want to get a close shave that looks great for summertime, you need to check out Nair and all it has to offer.

Finding Great Deals Online

by Angela on May 3, 2013

in Deals

I love shopping!  When I was younger I loved going to the mall and shopping in stores.  Like most women, right?  However as I get older and have three kids and a homeschooling/work at home schedule who really has the time?  However with today’s technology who needs to go out?

I LOVE the internet, of course I do-I’m a blogger!

And shopping on the internet?  LOVE IT!  I can sit right here in my pjs with an iced coffee in my hands and shop all I want and then just wait a few days for it to arrive on my doorstep.  Now that is living!

There are so many wonderful websites out there to help you find deals and sales!  This is great because not only do you have the convenience of online shopping but you really can SAVE money and with the cost of everything going up this is a win win for sure!  Two great places to save are  online offers and deals at Moonpig and vouchers and discounts on gifts at Secret Sales.

Moonpig find and aggregate the best Moonpig  discounts, deals, coupon codes & promotional codes from around the web. They also list information on sales and other useful money saving tips for Moonpig.

Secret Sales voucher codes, Deals and Discounts

SecretSales find and aggregate the best Secret Sales  discounts, deals, voucher codes & promotional codes from around the web. They also list information on sales and other useful money saving tips for Secret Sales.

Both of these sites are free to use so before you go shopping make sure to check them out!

The Christmas Web {Review}

by Angela April 23, 2013 Holidays

I just love making special memories with my children.  We can buy all kinds of things for our kids and indulge them in every way but it won’t be what matters, for a matter of fact it usually doesn’t help our kids too much.  What does matter is what we store in their memory banks.  The fun [...]
