It is even better when you find a place that has lots of fall family fun, all in one place.
This past weekend my family went to Kings Island in Cincinnati and I was amazed how many things they offered for everyone in the family!
There’s a kids’ costume contest (2:00 p.m.), a live stage show and trick-or-treat stops. We saw pony rides, a hay bale maze and an indoor maze.
They had so much for the kids and the fall weather was perfect for a fun day at the park! We had a blast! The first thing we did was check out Snoopy’s Halloween Party which is all fun, and no fear. The event runs every Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 p.m. through November 1 and is included with Kings Island park admission. We loved seeing Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang, strolling the pumpkin patch completely and seeing the pumpkin decorating station.
We enjoyed a little bit of everything!
Lots of fall fun but don’t forget everyone’s favorite rides and attractions are open during the day too. Kings Island is open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays. The location for Snoopy’s Halloween Party is located in Soak City Waterpark.
It is good to know that all the water rides are closed during the event. Please keep in mind if you do go to Kings Island on Saturdays, rides in Planet Snoopy begin to close at 5:00 p.m. This is when the park shifts to the more adult atmosphere of the Halloween Haunt which begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. We stayed for this because the kids with us were not small and it was so fun. If you have little ones, you may want to skip it!
Kings Island is located in Mason, Ohio.

I loved hearing that on every Sunday in October, canine companions are invited to join their owners from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. as part of Snoopy’s Halloween Party. The Dog Days event includes a dog parade and costume contest at 3:00 p.m. and dog trick-or-treat stops.
If you have a dog that loves to go places, this would be SO much fun!
