merci

Gift giving not only blesses the one who gets the gift but also the one who gives it.  I remember when I was a kid I used to feel sad for mom and dad who didn’t seem to get many gifts and the ones they would get didn’t seem too exciting to a kid.  They would tell me they loved buying for us and seeing us open our presents more and I just didn’t believe it, UNTIL I had children.  Now I know EXACTLY what they meant, picking out special presents for my kids knowing how excited they are going to be when they open them brings me pure joy!  I really don’t have to get anything (not that getting something isn’t fun)  but it doesn’t bring me the same happiness that seeing my kids get their gifts.  I’m so thankful I have these three precious children to buy for each year and for every friend and famly member I get to share gift giving with!

Merci Chocolates care about meaninful gift giving and sent me a package of chocolate to review.  Did I mention I LOVE chocolate, I mean LOVE LOVE!  Especially milk chocolate and this is some GOOD chocolate.  You can tell with the first bite that this is quality chocolate.  It is creamy, soft and just melts in your mouth.  This box has a wonderful assortment that includes a  delicious selection of rich, European chocolates made from the finest  ingredients.  Flavors range from Milk Chocolate, Cream Truffle and  Hazelnut-Almond to Dark Cream and Praline-Crème.  This would make the PERFECT gift for someone special in your life or just someone you want to bless this Christmas!

Who in your life could be blessed with Merci this year?  The Mailman or garbage man (where would we be without them?)  A special teacher in your kids lives or pastor who has ministered to you.  I bet you have a great list of people in your life that can benefit with a box of chocolate.

You can find these at your local Walmart and Walgreens Stores.

I was given a package of chocolate free to review.  All opinions are 100 percent mine

I have thanked my brother and his family for taking such good care of our father during the last few months of his life this summer. I live far enough away that I couldn’t be of much help so they took on the job. How do you thank someone for that?
