Project Life-Week 26

I heard about Project Life for the 1st time at the beginning of this year, a way to keep up with your pictues and stories, different from the standard scrapbooking but same principle.  Becky Higgins  was reminding me how I need to get my day to day life, not just trips and big events but the messes, reading books, gas prices,  and everything  I can think of.

The best part is it is EASY, no tape or anything which makes keeping up GREAT!

This project has really been so great for my family, every person in our house is loving seeing our week to week chronicled in our album and all that we are including.  At the end of the year we will be able to see our life for 2011, the good, the bad and the ugly, LOL.

Every Tuesday many project lifers link up at Jessica’s blog The Mom Creative to show off our weeks.  Sometimes we just show pictures and sometimes the actual layout!

We started off this week spending the day with friends who live about an hour away, we had a great time!  They are hoping to sell their house soon so I made sure to get pics of it, I have always loved their home!

Wed was a BIG day for my son who had a piano recital, he did 10 songs and they had a small party in the back of the church for him.  We are so proud of him and can’t wait to see what God is going to do with his gift!  I will be placing his program right in my album!

We (the kids and I) babysat a friend’s twins this week.  A boy and a girl!  So sweet

We ended the week with my hubby and I going 2 hrs away to see the prescreening of Courageous!   I will be doing special blog entries for the movie, you can check out this one Here.  We had a great time and it was so wonderful to see such a powerful, touching movie.

I will leave you with a video from Becky Higgins so you can see for yourself how great Project Life is!

I love seeing your son playing the piano. I always regretted not taking lessons and have been wanting to put my kids in lessons. Thank you for sharing!
