Recently I blogged about Champions for Kids #SpinbrushCFK Simple Service project. I was thrilled to be able to make up a container of oral care items for someone in need. My daughter and I had a wondeful time putting together the special package for a child that would need it and couldn’t wait to make the donation to our church pantry.
Our Church pantry includes this cabinet and another big one with long drawers. It is filled up by people who make donations to it. It usually contains can goods, prepared box meals, toiletries and more. Having something like the special box we made will be a real treat for someone and we can’t wait to see it gone because we will know it went out blessing another.
The pantry often helps families that are in need. Our church is in a small inner city where there are many families hurting, espcially in these times. More and more are out of work and we are seeing more people needing help then ever before. Champions for Kids have such wonderful projects to give and help others and we are proud to be a part of that!
This is all the wonderful things we bought. I just love the spinbrushes that the kids can decorate. We included a couple of different kinds of flosses, mouthwash for kids, and toothpaste.
We found the perfect container for it all!
