I will admit that I haven’t always taken care of my eyes the way I should. I have taken for granted that my eyes would be okay as long as I wore my glasses/contacts and visited a dr once in a while.
Zeiss website has some great information to help you understand how important eye health is and how to make the best decisions for your eyes. They teach you what to look for in a doctor and in good lenses.
These issues as well as others are listed below:

“ZEISS spent years developing cutting edge technology to improve the experience of eyeglass wearers with Zeiss Individual® — the first progressive lens to integrate how your frames, face and prescription work together to create a one-of-a-kind lens personalized for the wearer.”
I love the idea of having a lens that meets my specific needs. I know my mom has several issues in her eyes that make a standard pair of glasses not work for her. This would be great because they would tailor every need she has for her glasses.
Zeiss even has articles for children so as a mom you can educate yourself on your children’s vision and their eye wear if they need it.
